HSEQ Advisor – Civil Contractor

Our client provides their services across the civil infrastructures sector in Sydney. and you will be responsible for contributing to the successful delivery of a number of challenging projects.

• Assessment of accident, incident and near miss reporting, evaluating findings and monitoring implementation of any corrective / preventative measures
• At each stage of the projects, assist in identifying and managing high risk activities
• Plan, develop and implement reporting and communication structures to enable accurate assessment and evaluation of health and safety management performance
• Carry out independent health and safety audits on all aspects of construction management
• Attend planning and coordination reviews for day to day and long term safety planning of work activities
• Liaise with design teams and contractors in forward planning for safety and coordination of work activities
• Prepare SWMS and ITPS

As the HSEQ Advisor, you will be involved in ensuring the highest standards of health and safety management are carried out across all construction sites. Candidates can come from a Health and Safety Advisor or Manager background.

Our client is a well-established and reputable civil contractor, they are looking for an experienced and dedicated HSEQ Advisor to join their growing business.

• Ideally a Diploma in Health & Safety or a Cert IV
• 5 to 10+ years’ experience with background in working in construction health & safety
• High level of organisation and time management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Well-developed interpersonal skills
• Ability to thrive in high pressure, fast paced environment
