Design physical security systems, to include video surveillance, electronic access control and intrusion detection.
Manage electronic security vendors, develop, and report on key performance indicators.
Evaluate risk and application of physical security standards to meet the needs of the facility and staff.
Project manage and oversee the installation, testing and acceptance of physical security systems.
Act as a liaison and develop strong relationships with site leaders across the enterprise.
Manage and track security equipment preventative and corrective maintenance programs.
Evaluate and deploy new security technologies, to attain long term security program goals.
Collaborate with other lines of business, and act as a security subject matter expert as part of cross functional project teams.
Manage and lead business critical project teams including internal and external stakeholders.
Contribute to the implementation and maintenance of Hubbell’s security related policies, minimum standards, and work instructions.
Conduct site security assessments and ensure that appropriate measures are in place, in line with security policy framework, track and report on improvement plans.

Ability to execute upon physical security strategies, goals and objectives.
Ability and willingness to be on call 24 / 7 to respond to company-related security emergencies and to travel domestically and internationally, as needed.
At least 5 years of experience in a corporate security organization, responsible for multiple facilities, or a related public sector organization (focused on physical security). Private sector corporate security and manufacturing environment experience is preferred.
Experience in managing day-to-day security operations including conducting physical security assessments across multiple sites.
Ability to effectively communicate within all levels of the organization.
Hands-on experience with the design, installation and testing of physical security devices.
Strong knowledge of the physical security industry and associated security best practice including components of physical security such as CCTV, access control systems, fencing and gates, and other security risk mitigation measures.
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and professional certifications in an area of study relevant to this position.
