The SCADA system specialist will take a role in the support, development, and maintenance of real-time AVEVA System Platform that operates within the Terminals business unit. Work includes developing SCADA applications, measurement, and control center automation tools.

Ensure that KM SCADA system procedures and standards are met.
The SCADA Specialist will participate in or be responsible for implementing SCADA system projects related to new or modified facilities. This work may include application configuration, application design and development, SQL database, SCADA System support, graphics development, and other activities by Kinder Morgan SCADA policies, procedures, and standards.
Provide SCADA system hardware and software support in conjunction with appropriate IT personnel as needed.
Work as part of a group to provide SCADA system administration, management, and support functions where support includes day-to-day activities required to support the departments that use the SCADA System.
Coordinate with Engineering, Control Center, and Operations personnel to ensure that application, graphic, and report design meet customer requirements.
Participate in or be directly responsible for the analysis, design, and implementation of SCADA-related applications, SQL databases, and reports while following existing standards.
Develop documentation related to the design and the use of applications, graphics, procedures, etc.
Participate with IT Telecommunications personnel to review network design, maintenance issues, monitoring, etc.

Networking experience within a Telecom department or similar
