Witness factory and site testing, verify results, and ensure adherence to standards
Identify quality risks, implement mitigation strategies, and monitor progress
Develop and manage project quality plans, scopes, and deliverables
Manage multiple concurrent projects with minimal supervision
Direct and support in-house and third-party inspectors; participate in supplier evaluations and surveillance
Review contractor and supplier submittals, inspection and test plans, and technical documentation
Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, and construction teams to ensure specification compliance
Lead audits, address non-conformities, and manage resolution activities
Prepare clear reports, memos, and quality documentation

Valid Class 5 driver’s license
Experience with concrete testing and repair, foundation systems, precast materials, steel fabrication, welding inspections, or construction quality processes
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience in utilities, infrastructure, or industrial construction environments
Knowledge of civil/structural design, materials testing, and interpretation of drawings/specifications
Familiarity with QA methodologies, auditing practices, and public procurement processes
Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering with a minimum of eight years’ relevant experience, including at least two years in quality assurance
Proficiency with MS Office and standard engineering design/analysis software
Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with eligibility for provincial registration
