The Load Forecasting team leverages advanced analytics, data science, and diverse data sources to predict future electricity and natural gas usage, providing the foundation for long‑term financial planning, reliable supply, resource allocation, and infrastructure system planning.
- Assist senior staff in developing and running econometric and statistical forecasting models.
- Build and maintain input and output databases for long‑term load forecasting analyses.
- Extract data from internal and external systems and develop code for data cleaning, aggregation, and automation.
- Create data visualizations and dashboards to derive insights and communicate results.
- Generate regular reports comparing forecasts versus actuals and track key intelligence.
- Support preparation of written documents and presentations summarizing research findings.
