Electrical Operative

Description

The Electrician role works Monday‑Friday, 8:00‑17:00, performing maintenance and reactive tasks on client plant, completing paperwork on a PDA, and supporting administration.

• Build long‑term relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Commercially astute; identify and generate additional works or sales opportunities.
• Perform maintenance and reactive tasks on client plant.
• Complete job tasks, risk assessments, and timesheets via PDA and CAFM systems.
• Produce further works reports and liaise with clients on completed and pending work.
• Update contract managers and administrators on site or plant changes.

Requirements

The candidate must hold industry‑recognized electrical qualifications, have extensive building‑services experience – including work with AHUs, FCUs, and basic mechanical tasks – and demonstrate a positive, flexible, commercially‑aware attitude.

The position requires effective time management, teamwork, client relationship building, and availability for out‑of‑hours work.

• Ability to work independently, manage time, paperwork, and support administration staff.
