The outsourced controller will support mission‑driven organizations by reviewing financial reporting packages and work papers for quality and timeliness, preparing and analyzing benchmarking data and key performance indicators, and presenting findings to clients. Additional duties include assisting with budgets, forecasts and cash‑flow models, providing technical accounting support on complex issues, identifying operational inefficiencies, and leading and coaching staff and senior accountants.
Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business, possess 4–6 years of public or private accounting experience, and have at least three years of experience managing associates or teams. Professional certification such as CPA or CMA is preferred, and candidates should demonstrate strong analytical, planning, project management, relationship‑building, and communication skills, along with proficiency in Intacct, QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, Bill.com, and Microsoft Office.

The position offers a base salary range of $97,000 to $145,000, with eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus.
