Key duties include strategic supplier identification and selection, commercial negotiations, and management of contracts such as Master Supply Agreements and NDAs. The manager oversees the full purchase order lifecycle, builds and maintains supplier relationships, and conducts cost‑analysis to drive savings. They also assess and mitigate supply‑chain risks, monitor performance metrics, and collaborate cross‑functionally to align sourcing with technical needs while continuously improving procurement processes.
The company seeks a proactive Procurement Manager to lead sourcing, negotiation, and acquisition of components, materials, and services for its micro‑reactor systems. The role works closely with Supplier Development Engineers, Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Operations to ensure suppliers meet rigorous quality, technical, commercial, and delivery requirements. Success in this fast‑paced, regulated environment demands strong negotiation skills and strategic thinking.
Deliverables encompass negotiated contracts with favorable terms, on‑time delivery of purchase orders aligned with project schedules, measurable cost savings, and comprehensive supplier performance reports. The role also requires effective risk‑mitigation plans and streamlined procurement procedures that support Radiant’s operational goals. Strong internal collaboration with SDE, engineering, QA, and operations, as well as external supplier partnerships, is essential.
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or a related field and have 3–8 years of procurement or strategic sourcing experience, preferably in manufacturing or technology. Required skills include successful negotiation, contract management, ERP/MRP proficiency, and strong analytical and communication abilities; travel up to 30% and occasional extended hours onsite are expected. Preferred qualifications are experience with supplier audits, ISO 9001/AS9100, and knowledge of energy or nuclear sector supply chains. Compensation includes base salary, substantial equity grants, and a benefits package featuring full medical coverage for employees, 50% coverage for dependents, vision, dental, stock plans, catered lunches, flexible PTO, and other perks.
