Quality Control Manager – Federal Construction (USACE/NAVFAC)

Description

As QC Manager, you will be responsible for implementing and managing the Three-Phase Quality Control Process, reviewing submittals and drawings, conducting site inspections, and maintaining comprehensive quality documentation. You will collaborate closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and field teams to maintain quality excellence throughout the project lifecycle.

• Lead the USACE/NAVFAC Three-Phase QC Process and ensure procedural adherence
• Conduct regular site inspections and document QA/QC activities
• Review submittals, RFIs, and construction documents for compliance with contract requirements
• Collaborate with field leadership to resolve quality issues proactively
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, federal regulations, and company policies
• Develop, manage, and execute the Project Quality Control Plan (QCP)
• Work on important federal construction projects supporting national defense
• Prepare reports using RMS/QCS and Microsoft Office tools
• Mentor and support QC inspectors and junior staff

Requirements

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• CQM-C certification or willingness to obtain it
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and coordinate with multiple stakeholders
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Quality Control on USACE, NAVFAC, or federal military construction projects
• Ability to work on-site at one of the listed Washington State military installations
• Experience working on federal vertical and horizontal construction projects in the Pacific Northwest
• OSHA 10/30 and First Aid/CPR certifications preferred
• Familiarity with federal quality standards and regulatory compliance
• Proficiency with RMS/QCS software and Microsoft Office
