Starting total pay ranges from $24.00 to $30.00 per hour, which includes a base wage plus a weekly production bonus. Production bonuses are variable and paid weekly based on meeting weekly production goals, with an example rate of a 55% bonus on a $17.76 base resulting in a $27.52 total hourly rate. Additionally, Nucor contributes 10% of its pre‑tax earnings to a profit‑sharing plan, with an average six‑year payout of 18.28% of eligible earnings.
