Conduct cybersecurity testing of systems going through the acquisition process.
Will need to remain current on technological advances relevant to the requirements they support and provide documented recommendations when appropriate.
Assess risks to identified IT assets utilizing available threat and vulnerability information and provide risk recommendations as well as provide technical expertise/capability to identify security-related issues of both current and planned systems and networks and associated architecture on the NAVAIR enterprise and RDT&E classified and unclassified networks.
Perform Cybersecurity services such as Assess and Authorize (A&A) Computer Network Defense (CND) services in order to protect the CIA of the NAVAIR Cyber environment.
Ensure appropriate security controls are in place that will safeguard information and vital electronic infrastructure in complex networks and environments.
Assess system vulnerabilities for security risks and propose and implement risk mitigation strategies on systems going through the acquisition process.
Respond to computer security breaches and viruses.

Minimum ten (10) years of experience implementing, upgrading and monitoring security measures for the protection of computer networks and information.
COMPTIA Security+ CE or similar industry certification required.
Active Secret clearance or higher-level clearance is required for consideration.
