Logistics Supervisor

Description

We have an opportunity for a Logistics Supervisor on a major data centre project in Dublin. In this role the expectation will be to oversee and coordinate the smooth operation of materials to and from site.

• Coordinate with subcontractors for the timely and safe delivery of materials to and from site
• Attend logistics meetings and relay key information to operatives and subcontractors
• Working on large scale data centre projects
• Enforce site access protocols and ensure all loading/unloading activities are carried out within designated areas
• Support the Logistics Manager in delivery scheduling and maintaining delivery logs and material records
• Maintain accurate labour tracking and assist with daily work reporting
• Monitor and guide traffic movements on site to prevent congestion and safety risks
• Supervise a team of logistics operatives and ensure compliance with Health & Safety procedures and safe working practices
• Ensure all site deliveries follow established procedures through the system
• Supervise and coordinate daily operations within the site compound and storage areas
• Report issues related to delivery, storage, or traffic management promptly and provide solutions to action.

Requirements

• Additional qualifications in AP Crane and Temp Works are advantageous
• Good understanding of a large scale construction site with a solid understanding of site Health & Safety regulations
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple deliveries and subcontractors daily
• Experience in a logistics role on large scale construction project
