Assist the Project Manager, the Construction Manager, and the Project Team in all matters related to project records and the control and distribution of documents in PMWeb.
Participation in project meetings, as necessary.
This includes internal records of the client’s projects and programs, and those processed with external entities such as City Agencies, consultants, and contractors.
Support for project teams in organizing workflows and approvals.
The control, scanning, indexing, linking, hardcopy filing and distribution of documents in PMWeb.
May be assigned training duties to train new staff on document controls procedures.
Manage flow of records to project participants distribution, including correspondence, technical submittals, project reports, Requests for Information, and contract plans and specifications.
This job operates in a professional environment and uses standard equipment such as computers and phones.
May be designated as a lead Document Control Technician on a project or element.
Prepare transmittals, distribute documents using PMWeb, and retrieve documents through PMWeb software.

Must possess a “can-do” attitude: able to produce consistently accurate results at a fast pace.
Be able to sit and/or stand for up to 8 hours per day.
Previous experience managing a Document Control effort for a large-scale ($25M+),construction project or program required.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Must be able to occasionally wrap, lift, and move boxes/packages of up to 40-pounds
Document processing experience at large international airports preferred
Demonstrate the ability to move freely for up to 8 hours per day.
Certification for document control professionals is highly desirable
Must be detail oriented and highly organized
Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of software products- Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Two-year technical degree
Experience in a large-scale, billion-dollar public-sector construction program is highly desirable.
Must have a self-starter attitude with proactive, result-oriented focus; and willing and capable to assume additional responsibilities.
Demonstrated success on the job, as evidenced by satisfactory performance, acceptance of responsibility, and growth in previous positions.
Proven accuracy, reliability, and completeness in job accomplishment.
Must be highly organized and detail oriented.
5-10 years’ experience with document processing and data management.
Must be sensitive to time deadlines, ensure that work is accomplished in the timeframes required, and must be flexible and able to readily adapt to changing priorities.
Previous experience in a construction environment is highly desirable.
Must be able to interface with a variety of people with different technical levels and educational backgrounds; must be detail-oriented and highly organized; and must be able to produce accurate and timely results while maintaining a positive customer-service attitude.
