Operate as a subject matter expert on structured cabling projects.
Responsible for all site safety, health and security.
Ensure all subcontractor activities are performed according to Purchase Order and Contract.
Notify the PM in a timely manner of any pending or actual changes to the work performed that may impact costs, schedule, contract, or customer relationship.
Identify and coordinate with PM on manpower and other resources required for the construction.
Perform field Quality Control functions.
Attend on-site meetings with GCs and customers as necessary.
Track all details related to changes to the work to ensure all accurate and timely Change Order Requests can be submitted.
Define work for field crews daily and ensure all activities are performed in adherence with the Project Plan.
Assemble and manage punch list in cooperation with the customer and ensure timely completion of outstanding items.
Coordinate material inventory and deliveries.
Provide technical information to the field crews by translating structured cabling drawings/prints into tracking spreadsheets and create cut-sheets.
Identify all issues requiring PM attention along with their urgency and overall impact to the project.
Conduct site surveys to provide input into estimates for proposals, and review and summarize bid documents.
Responsible for Contract and subcontractor quality site documentation.
Organize and file all site documents, including daily work reports and project close-out deliverables.

Experience working in a hospital/medical setting a plus.
Competent computer skills and a working knowledge of Outlook and Excel spreadsheets.
BICSI and/or RCDD certification is a plus.
Thorough understanding of EIA/TIA Standards required.
Minimum 3 years construction experience.
Physical ability to perform the duties of the position (climbing, standing, crouching, kneeling, bending, lifting)
Ability to travel to multiple job sites within the Northern Virginia/DC Metropolitan area.
Experience directly managing craft labor.
Understanding of Microsoft Project Scheduling is a plus.
Customer requires specific background check, pre-employment drug test, medical testing and vaccinations, including an annual flu shot.
Minimum of 4 years low voltage, structured cabling design experience.
Industry Certifications (CommScope, Hilti, Tyco, Panduit) preferred.
A Degree in Construction Management and/or Project Management coursework a plus.
Thorough understanding of construction industry practices, processes, standards.
