Overview

Inspect, load, photograph, and list heavy equipment for auction while managing the yard.

Tasks

-Use a forklift to load, unload and rearrange heavy equipment -Load and unload product from trucks -Provide accurate and sufficient information on all required documents -Arrange Auction Yard for sale days -Climb on, off, and under large equipment and trucks for inspection -Upload pictures, descriptions, and conditions to the website -Perform all tasks in a manner fully consistent with Altec Safety practices and procedures

What You Bring

-Valid Driver’s License -Physical effort to move objects and tools that may weigh up to 50 pounds -Ability to support customers by working overtime -Strong interpersonal, customer service, and organizational skills -High School Diploma, state-approved High School Equivalency, or GED -Forklift certification -Troubleshooting and mechanic skill is not required, but an interest and appreciation for equipment is needed -With non-repetitive days working outside in changing weather conditions, -Education or experience with mechanics, electrical or hydraulic systems -Experience using laptops, iPads
