Superintendent II

Description

We are seeking a qualified Superintendent to join our RAH team and coordinate new‑home construction at the sub‑division level in line with company standards. The role ensures quality and customer satisfaction while overseeing subcontractors, Assistant Superintendents, and laborers, and maintaining job‑site safety and OSHA compliance.

• Manage construction and timely completion of quality homes according to company standards.
• Maintain inventory in a presentable condition for potential customers.
• Oversee and schedule construction activities across one or multiple residential projects, delegating to assistants and subcontractors.
• Train, direct, and manage Assistant Superintendents and laborers as needed.
• Control direct and indirect construction expenditures for the subdivision.
• Implement company policies, procedures, and required paperwork.
• Train subcontractors on company policies, safety, and OSHA compliance.
• Safeguard the job site from hazards and comply with SWPPP and ADEQ regulations.
• Coordinate with local jurisdictions to secure required inspections and approvals.
• Obtain certificates of occupancy from local authorities.
• Manage homeowner orientations and expedite completion of orientation letters and repair items.

Requirements

• Require high school diploma or GED; associate’s degree preferred.
• Prefer at least five years of residential or commercial construction experience.
• Possess thorough knowledge of a building trade (electrical, carpentry, plumbing, etc.) and ability to read blueprints.
• Demonstrate strong technical understanding of construction processes.
• Exhibit excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
