Manage all aspects of testing and inspection processes for the construction quality management program, including implementing the three-phase inspection system and assisting the commissioning process
Determine alternative work methods, coordinate safety and compliance, maintain schedule timelines, and effectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels
Develop and distribute RFIs and Change Orders; implement procedures for posting revisions and updates to as-built construction documents; incorporate subcontractor as-built documentation in contract document revisions
Manage submittals, set up register, prepare transmittal forms, coordinate submittal processing, and expedite submittals to ensure material deliveries align with the project schedule; communicate submittal process details to subcontractors and suppliers
Provide periodic updates of the submittal register to the customer or architect; coordinate subcontractor details, verify insurance, prepare paperwork, and request final payment; lead project closeout activities
Establish handling procedures for electronic documents, including RFIs and correspondence; incorporate processes and procedures that support the project closeout phase
Interpret project plans, specifications, and details for subcontractors and craft persons; implement the pre-construction quality plan and obtain/maintain necessary construction permits
Develop and maintain Material Tracking List, Project Test and Inspection Listing, Non-Conformance Report, and equipment coordination matrices; manage contract documents and lead the 3-D coordination process

Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Civil, Architectural, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent field experience
Intermediate Microsoft Office, project, and pertinent web application skills
Ability to travel up to 100%
Basic understanding of construction law and generally accepted business practices
Ability to interpret and communicate Mortenson policies
