The role is part of a safety-focused team that works on systems ranging from 24 V to 230 kV, delivering reliable solutions for complex and critical electrical installations.

Construct, alter, repair, and test industrial electrical systems and components.
Install and maintain low, medium, and high-voltage equipment in industrial settings.
Work safely around energized power and control equipment according to safety standards.
Mentor and coach apprentices to develop skills and promote safe work practices.
Select appropriate materials and ensure compliance with the Canadian Electrical Code.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and equipment serviced.
Engage in Shermco’s Positive Safety Reporting and client field audits.

Travel may be required for out-of-town projects, and the position offers a dynamic environment with diverse industrial challenges.

Hold a Red Seal Interprovincial Journeyperson Certificate.
Experience in industrial or commercial electrical environments (preferred).
Possess industrial safety training or certifications (a plus).
Fluent in written and verbal English.
Valid driver’s licence with a clean abstract.
Willingness to travel for out-of-town projects.
