Ability to work in a very stressful, deadline oriented environment that requires complex, technical information and decision making.
Must have the ability to use computerized equipment and technology
Must have the ability to lift 50 pounds and to stand and walk for long periods of time.
Knowledge of mining and production techniques and equipment, safety and environmental regulations (MSHA and OSHA), equipment application and operation, material specifications, and surveying.
High school diploma or the equivalent with 3 – 5 years experience in surveying and mapping
Ability to plan and manage effectively.
Strong communication skills, self motivation and interpersonal skills including conflict resolution.
Currently hold (or ability to acquire) FAA Drone License
Drone equipment along with the associated computer applications and peripherals to accomplish aerial mapping and surveying.
Must have the ability to drive a pick-up truck on a daily basis; there may be a periodic need to travel by airline.
Basic computer skills
Must be able to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
Use of telephone, computers, cell phones and other electronic devices is essential.
Technical Degree in Surveying with 0 - 3 years experience in mining and surveying.
Knowledge of AutoCad, mine planning software, and the use of drones, survey instruments, calculations, and practices.
