Driver Helpers team with Route Drivers to collect waste and recyclable material. They follow WM safety and life‑critical rules, OSHA requirements, and all applicable laws, reporting unsafe situations or service issues promptly.
- Follow WM safety, OSHA, and legal standards; report unsafe conditions immediately.
- Attend all scheduled training, briefings, and meetings.
- Load and unload residential/commercial containers manually or mechanically.
- Operate hoisting devices to lift bins into the truck hopper.
- Assist the driver with backing maneuvers and route tasks.
- Notify Operations Manager of incidents, accidents, property damage, or service interruptions.
- Communicate customer requests to Operations Manager or Dispatch.
- Perform assigned duties and support other drivers to meet customer needs.

- Must be 18+ years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.
- No education or prior experience required.
- Capable of lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, and performing repetitive motions with eye‑hand‑foot coordination.
