Technical Administrative Assistant

Description

• Be responsible for CQMS Registration for Technical & Engineering Work.
• Assisting the Technical & Engineering Team in filing incoming project information.
• Compile and populate Technical & Engineering Team Enquiry documents on a site-by-site basis.
• Liaising with the Technical & Engineering Team, to provide a timely Tender Comparison.
• Obtaining signatures for completed/returned documentation. • Printing and Photocopying (drawings/reports etc)
• Create timely Reports & Documents using standard Microsoft software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc)
• Collate Project Consultant Directory and issue to Dochosting.
• Produce and manage new standardised documents and procedures for the Technical & Engineering Team
• Managing the Tender enquiries, including sending out in a timely manner, and collating all returned Tenders.
• Issue letters and documents as requested.
• Be responsible for Technical & Engineering Team invoice processing. Subject to the agreed sign-off process.
• Make initial incoming services payments, diversions and TBS Connections.
• Collate all Technical & Engineering Teams Enquiry Information, inc. drawings and specifications.
• Ensure Budget, Order and Invoice approval information is shared with the Commercial Team in an appropriate time frame.
• Prepare & Sending Technical & Engineering Appointment Documents

Requirements

In this role, you will deliver accurate, efficient, and timely administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the department. You will demonstrate strong communication and organisational skills, working effectively with both internal teams and external stakeholders.

• Proficiency with a variety of IT software, including Microsoft Office, and will have a strong command of Excel
• Advantage to have the following qualifications: Minimum 5 GCSEs (including English and Math's.
• Experience working in a construction environment would be highly desirable, although it is not essential to the role.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with and support your wider team
• LABC / Premier / NHBC initial Registration and support to the Technical Manager
• Be resourceful and keen to learn and take on additional responsibilities within the department
• An excellent communicator, both verbal and written, with excellent record-keeping skills and attention to detail
• The ability to work on your own initiative, with minimal supervision, effectively managing your time and completing tasks in order of priority
