Assist in ensuring critical systems, specifically Opera, Simphony, Call Accounting, HSIA, PABX and Food & Beverage Point of Sales computer systems are available twenty-four (24) hours per day.
You will be responsible for most memorable experience and give seamless connectivity to the Guest during their stay and make sure all the system is working without any downtime to ensure our guests receive nothing but the best experience.
You need to make sure all the backups are completed as per the schedule and inform the IT Manager in case there are any issues.
To make sure that everyone follows all Dorchester Collection IT policies and procedures and monitors them periodically.
Monitor the IT Helpdesk calls and close them on a priority basis.
You’ll bring your unique personality and passion to the role and the team.
Assist the Guest if there is any support or assistance during the stay.
You may on occasion be required to adjust your hours of work to cover the beach club needs.
You will be the first point of contact for any IT related Guest complaints and make sure that it is attended to on top priority.
You need to make sure all the Beach Club applications and computer networks are working as per Dorchester Collection standard.

You acknowledge that working in beach club operations involves exposure to heat and sun, operating under pressure, and requires standing and walking for long periods of time.
You have a talent for problem-solving, and the ability to work independently and on your initiative
Diploma in IT or related field experience. CCNA and Microsoft Certification is desired.
You are either starting your career in IT or have at least two years of experience in a similar role within luxury hotels in the Middle East.
You should have good listening skills to make sure that you completely understand the requirement.
Understanding the Guest facing technologies and troubleshooting
Communication is what keeps our departments running perfectly. You have great communication skills with a strong customer service ethic.
Hands-on experience in support for Desktop OS and applications including patches.
English is the primary language used in our hotel. You can comfortably communicate in this language.
