Join our team as an HVAC Trim Out Technician, playing a crucial role in completing the final touches of HVAC installations with precision and excellence. This dynamic position contributes to client comfort and system efficiency, requiring an eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
The technician installs trim components such as grills, registers, diffusers, zone boards, thermostats, and vent hoods, performs low‑voltage wiring and refrigerant piping, and ensures proper alignment and secure attachment. Collaboration with the installation crew guarantees timely completion, while inspection, testing, and adjustments maintain optimal airflow and aesthetic standards. Documentation, communication with project managers and clients, and adherence to safety protocols round out the duties.
Candidates must hold a high school diploma or GED, complete an HVAC apprenticeship or possess equivalent experience, and maintain a valid technician certification or license. At least two years of HVAC installation experience, including trim‑out work, proficiency in reading blueprints, and skilled use of hand and power tools are required. Strong problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork abilities, physical capacity for heavy lifting, a valid driver’s license, and flexibility for overtime are also essential.
The position offers an hourly pay range of $20 to $25, reflecting the required expertise and responsibilities.
