The architectural role involves leading distinct portions of projects, producing a range of deliverables, and communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders. The position also requires integrating interdisciplinary criteria, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to studio and office initiatives.
- Lead distinct portions of projects, ensuring precision and accuracy.
- Produce and coordinate deliverables such as diagrams, 3D models, drawings, renderings, physical models, and animations.
- Communicate effectively with project teams, consultants, and clients via written, oral, and visual means.
- Apply strong conceptual design skills and integrate interdisciplinary criteria.
- Collaborate critically with project, consultant, and client teams, evaluating ideas constructively.
- Manage personal and team workload to meet project deadlines and commitments.
- Guide and mentor less experienced staff, providing direction and feedback.
- Inspire and lead team members by example, defining expectations and delegating tasks appropriately.
- Contribute to clear work plans that achieve project budgets, deliverables, and schedules.
- Engage in internal professional development and promote sustainable strategies across projects.
- Assist in developing standards, policies, and procedures while protecting SOM from financial and legal risk.

Candidates must hold a professional degree in Architecture or a related field, have at least four years of professional experience, and be close to completing licensure, with LEED accreditation preferred. Strong communication skills and proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, parametric and rendering software, Adobe Suite, and Google Workspace are required.
- Demonstrate intermediate knowledge of building materials, systems, codes, details, and construction techniques.
- Hold a professional degree in Architecture or a related field with at least four years of experience.
- Be close to completing professional licensure; LEED accreditation is preferred.
- Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, parametric and rendering software, Adobe Suite, and Google Workspace.
