The role performs advanced technical and engineering problem solving for nuclear plant operations, makes technical decisions, and applies deep functional knowledge alongside industry codes and regulations. It ensures accurate, complete, and timely engineering work.
- Provide in‑depth technical expertise to develop, manage, and implement engineering analysis, activities and programs.
- Offer technical consultation and direct involvement to identify and resolve equipment and system problems.
- Manage engineering issues from start to finish.
- Perform assigned engineering tasks using engineering principles.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, timeliness, configuration management, and adherence to design criteria, practices, procedures, and codes in plans and specifications.
- Conduct independent research, reviews, studies, and analyses for technical projects and programs.
- Recommend equipment, new concepts, and techniques to improve performance, simplify construction, reduce costs, correct design/material flaws, or comply with code/regulation changes.
- Perform additional job assignments, including emergency response, departmental coverage, call‑outs, and support of outage activities outside the department.

- Entry‑level (E01): B.S. in Engineering (chemical, civil/structural, electrical, industrial, mechanical, or nuclear) and meet minimum/unescorted access and medical requirements.
- Mid‑level (E02): B.S. in Engineering, at least 2 years nuclear or related engineering experience, meet ANSI/ANS‑3.1‑2014 qualifications, and maintain required access and medical standards.
- Senior (E03): B.S. in Engineering, at least 5 years nuclear or related engineering experience, meet ANSI/ANS‑3.1‑2014 qualifications, and maintain required access and medical standards.
- Professional Engineer (PE) registration.
- Advanced technical degree or related coursework.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.

Salary ranges depend on experience: entry‑level $85,000, mid‑level $94,500‑$105,000, and senior $124,000‑$138,000 per year, plus the comprehensive benefits package.
