Identifies risk issues on bid opportunities and their order of magnitude
Reviews general conditions, schedule, scopes of work, hoisting plans, site logistics and other exhibits as prepared by Operations
Supports preparation of instructions to bidders, bid form and other bid solicitation information as required
Assists in the preparation of the proposal letter
Builds effective relationships with customers, design team, specialty contractors, suppliers, and user groups that reflect and support company core values and meets or exceeds the customer's expectations
Fills in minor and major scope/design gaps
Maintains and communicates data on construction and material cost trends affecting project costs
Analyses alternate means and methods to determine the most economical alternative
Investigates and recommends the best industry standard estimating technology
Reviews constructability issues on process piping construction projects with operational staff
Prepares conceptual estimates based on minimal information
Ensures the flow of bid project information is maintained and documented
