- Communicate with local building departments and regulatory agencies to confirm submission procedures or requirements.
- Update internal project trackers, databases, and document management systems to ensure information accuracy.
- Research local and state permitting requirements across various Authorities having jurisdictions (AHJs)
- Assist in improving GreenLite’s research library of permitting procedures nationwide.
- Work closely with GreenLite’s Permit Operations and Project Management teams to track application progress.
- Verify completeness and accuracy of documentation for submission to local authorities.
- Assist with preparing, assembling, and organizing building permit application packages.
- Summarize and document jurisdictional differences in construction permitting processes.

- Hands-on experience with real-world construction permitting and regulatory operations.
- Reliable and organized with consistent follow-through on assigned tasks.
- Exposure to private-public interactions in the development process.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Familiarize yourself with zoning ordinances and building codes.
- Enjoys research and problem-solving.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace and familiarity with databases or project management tools (e.g., Airtable, Notion) is a plus.

- Experience managing multiple tasks or projects with competing deadlines.
- Excellent organization, research, and written communication skills.
- Current undergraduate student in a related field such as: Urban Planning, Public Policy, Environmental Studies, Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or Real Estate.
