  • Communicate with local building departments and regulatory agencies to confirm submission procedures or requirements.
  • Update internal project trackers, databases, and document management systems to ensure information accuracy.
  • Research local and state permitting requirements across various Authorities having jurisdictions (AHJs)
  • Assist in improving GreenLite’s research library of permitting procedures nationwide.
  • Work closely with GreenLite’s Permit Operations and Project Management teams to track application progress.
  • Verify completeness and accuracy of documentation for submission to local authorities.
  • Assist with preparing, assembling, and organizing building permit application packages.
  • Summarize and document jurisdictional differences in construction permitting processes.

  • Hands-on experience with real-world construction permitting and regulatory operations.
  • Reliable and organized with consistent follow-through on assigned tasks.
  • Exposure to private-public interactions in the development process.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
  • Familiarize yourself with zoning ordinances and building codes.
  • Enjoys research and problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and familiarity with databases or project management tools (e.g., Airtable, Notion) is a plus.
