As a Credit Associate at Crescent Electric, you will support credit and branch teams on credit, collections, and financial matters. You will assist with opening new and existing accounts, setting credit lines, and releasing tickets, while ensuring professional relationships with key customers.
The role involves maintaining assigned credit portfolios, processing new account applications, and communicating status to branches. You will handle various credit reports such as D&B, Credit Net, and personal reports, and work closely with corporate, district, and branch personnel to meet company and branch goals.
You will review accounts receivable aging monthly, coordinate corrective action plans, and manage lien and bond reporting to protect mechanic’s lien and bond rights. Responsibilities also include preparing preliminary notices, resolving disputed invoices, generating credit‑related reports, and supporting leadership with credit goals, legal issues, and special projects.

Strong skills are required, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), the ability to work quickly and accurately under deadlines, and excellent interpersonal, organizational, analytical, and communication abilities. You must be a self‑starter with keen attention to detail and capable of building positive relationships with employees and customers.
Qualifications include an Associate Degree in Credit, Finance, Accounting, or related field, or two years of relevant experience, with NACM certification preferred and a valid driver’s license. Physical demands involve occasional lifting up to 25 lb, frequent sitting, standing, walking, and use of standard office technology.
