  • Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations while issuing disciplinary action when needed.
  • Communicates between Manufacturing, Planning, Engineering, Product Management, Customer Service, Human Resources, Sourcing, Quality, and Warehouse as needed to resolve problems in production and address larger tactical issues.
  • Drives safety initiatives and improvements across all areas of manufacturing and all shifts.
  • Ensures the most effective management of all work centers, processes, and personnel involved with manufacturing.
  • Maintain a positive relationship with the Union to align business needs and requirements.
  • Execute plans for efficient use of materials, machines, and employees while maximizing process flexibility through cross training.
  • Actively participates in Production Control meetings & communicate within the department to share pertinent information and set goals.
  • Provides leadership to and is responsible for all aspects of the production manufacturing personnel.
  • Manages and develops a team with a commitment to safety, quality, cost, and delivery performance utilizing business practices such as 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and Continuous Improvement.
  • Problem Solving: Gathers and analyzes information skillfully; focuses on identifying root causes to create solutions in a timely and decisive manner; reconciles conflicting and/or incomplete information to develop solutions; Uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics
  • Identifies and manages key cost drivers within the manufacturing process and works to continually refine processes to meet business objectives.
  • Eliminates waste and develops cost reductions.
  • Promote positive employee relations and interdepartmental communication and collaboration.
  • Develop solutions with analytical approach for meeting production plans in support of company objectives.
  • Plans, develops, and implements new methods and procedures designed to improve operations, minimize operating costs and effect greater utilization of labor and materials.

  • Bachelor's degree from college or university in a related field with preference in engineering preferred
  • Ability to drive change with effective Change Management skills
  • Effectively collaborates with difficult personalities to overcome obstacles and implement positive change.
  • Experience with Power BI software preferred
  • Strong Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Power Point, and Teams application skills
  • SAP experience in ERP/MRP systems
  • 5 years of experience as manufacturing manager or production supervisor role
  • Ability to take ownership and drive accountability to all aspects of production
  • Proficient in supervising CNC machine production and electrical assembly operation
  • Detailed ability to interpret engineering drawings
  • Experience with Production Planning and solid history in executing
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Understanding and belief in Lean and Continuous Improvement methodologies
