In this position you will develop and execute a strategic capacity roadmap for the investment casting business, ensuring the organization can meet customer demand. The role requires close collaboration with GCLs, quality and engineering teams, as well as external supplier partners.
You will work with strategic suppliers and cross‑functional GE Vernova colleagues to map capacity needs from the current year out to three or more years. By understanding constraints across the entire investment‑casting value stream, you will lead projects that remove bottlenecks and establish robust action plans focused on safety, quality, delivery, and cost. Operational rhythms will be set to track milestones, and weekly progress will be monitored and reported to working teams and senior leadership.
The position demands a bachelor’s degree in operations management, supply‑chain management, business administration, or a related discipline; an MBA is preferred. Candidates should bring 5‑10 years of operations leadership or program‑management experience—ideally within the energy sector—and at least five years of hands‑on experience in investment casting production and ceramic core processes. A willingness to travel at a minimum of 50 % of the time is required.
Strong Lean‑methodology expertise, proven project‑management capabilities, and solid quantitative and analytical skills are essential. The role also calls for excellent interpersonal, presentation, and facilitation abilities, as well as a strategic mindset that can devise and drive execution plans in a matrixed environment, including risk‑mitigation and change‑management activities.
Compensation includes a base salary range of $125,000 to $208,300, a 15 % variable incentive, and geographic differentials of 110 % to 130 % where applicable.
