May assist with orienting or training new or less experienced Maintenance personnel.

Performs facility maintenance and repair and may replace or install damaged glass, windows, doors, partitions, ceiling or floor tile, door locks, carpet, and/or paint.
May assist in other areas of plant as directed.
Performs electrically related activities specified by work order and installs new or replacement electrical systems, equipment and fixtures.
May assist with maintaining parts, spares and maintenance inventory.
Re-assembles and tests equipment ensuring safe and efficient operating condition is restored.

Must have the ability to diagnose problems regardless of complexity, troubleshoot electrical equipment and systems and take corrective action within policy and procedure limitations.

At least five years of experience in a related position in a similar environment with ability to comprehend complex specifications, wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, blueprints and manuals.
