Key Responsibilities: Accurately read allocated meter routes in a timely, efficient, and safe manner. Uphold Service Stream safety standards and represent the company and its clients professionally. Ensure targets are met, work independently as well as with team members, regularly communicate with the office support team, and upload/download route information to/from a handheld device.
Primary Location Epping, VIC. No experience is necessary, and all training and personal protective equipment are supplied. The role supports a fit, healthy, and active lifestyle and involves working outdoors.
About the Role: Do you enjoy working outdoors in the community in a role that supports your health and wellbeing? We are seeking a Meter Reader for the Morwell and surrounding Gippsland area to walk allocated neighbourhoods and record utility meter readings. No experience is required, an immediate start is available, and we will teach you everything you need to know.
What you need: a current valid driver’s licence, reliable motor vehicle and mobile phone. You must be ready to learn, able to work on your own, and capable of plenty of walking, bending, and squatting. The role requires working in most weather conditions, Monday‑Friday, 30‑38 hours per week, with flexible travel of up to or more than 45 minutes each way, and a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and good attention to detail.
