Perform work under moderate supervision. Receives direction on moderately complex assignments, tasks, and execution. Work is frequently reviewed by more senior staff to ensure application of sound techniques and principles.
Prepare inspection and contractor performance reports as needed for project records.
Perform inspections for transportation construction projects to ensure they are completed in accordance with plans, specifications and in compliance with codes and regulations.
Document project assignments accurately.
Maintain project documents and files.

NECEPT Bituminous Field Certification a plus.
Occasional pushing or pulling up to 20 pounds.
Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
Primarily local travel during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be required according to the needs of the business.
NICET certification a plus.
Highly motivated and problem-solving attitude.
Valid state driver's license and ability to successfully pass a motor vehicle check or reliable form of transportation to/from the office and/or project site strongly preferred.
