In this role, the Survey Technician will process and analyze field data, create precise maps and legal descriptions, research land records, contribute to technical reports, perform mathematical computations, develop client relationships, monitor regulatory compliance, implement innovative survey solutions, and assist field crews with equipment such as Leica total stations, GPS, and scanners.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, with an associate’s degree in surveying preferred, and 3–5 years of surveying experience. Required skills include knowledge of land‑surveying math and methods, experience processing survey data, proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, and familiarity with PennDOT standards, along with strong problem‑solving, ownership, and communication abilities.
The position requires the ability to lift up to 50 lb, a valid driver’s license, occasional travel to sites in Pennsylvania, Ohio, and New York, and the capability to work outdoors in varied weather and terrain.
