  • Manage incoming and outgoing post, deliveries, and ensure items reach the appropriate department.
  • Maintain a tidy and presentable reception and meeting room area, ensuring facilities are ready for use.
  • Assist the Office Manager & PA to the CEO with meeting coordination and travel arrangements when required.
  • Act in accordance with Van Elle’s policies and procedures, undertaking any other duties reasonably required to support the effective running of the office.
  • Answer incoming calls, directing enquiries or taking accurate messages as required.
  • Greet and assist all visitors, clients, and suppliers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Handle enquiries professionally and confidentially.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to provide high-quality service to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support the office with general administrative tasks, including photocopying, scanning, filing, and stationery management.

  • Experience in a receptionist or front of house role, ideally within a busy office or construction environment.
  • Practical, logical, and able to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Proactive attitude and willingness to support colleagues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a confident telephone manner.
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a calm and professional approach.
  • Eligible to work and live in the UK.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Friendly, approachable, and able to build positive relationships at all levels.
