The Structural Drafter role offers a hybrid work arrangement, allowing employees to divide their time between the office and remote locations. The position focuses on modifying complex drawing diagrams, layouts, and detailed drawings, incorporating engineering markups as needed.
In this role, the drafter creates mechanical and electrical CAD drawings for oil and gas projects while expanding knowledge of drafting principles. Under the guidance of a discipline supervisor, they adhere to project deadlines, priorities, and budget constraints, follow company drafting standards, and maintain effective communication with the project team. Fieldwork activities include taking measurements, locating tie‑ins, and as‑building existing systems to support accurate design deliverables.
Applicants are expected to have an associate degree in Computer‑Aided Design Technology or a related technical field, though prior drafting experience is not required. Required skills include proficiency with Microsoft Office, CAD software (such as AutoCAD or CADWorx), strong oral and written communication, customer‑service orientation, attention to accuracy, ability to prioritize and multitask, confidentiality, and compliance with OSHA safety policies.

The compensation range for this position is $38,560 to $55,490, with transparency about total compensation, including potential discretionary bonuses.
