Support special projects where individual will need to leverage ATC background and expertise to provide advisory/consulting to FAA client SME
Ensure the proper staffing level and team composition is available for each project, in some cases may need to coordinate proper stakeholders on the FAA and “industry” side for IFP design related workgroups
Provide strategic planning, other programmatic, and administrative support
Monitor and track project requests, approvals, and progress
Facilitate instrument flight procedure (IFP) design related workgroups for major FAA projects at facilities/airports
Conduct research and data analysis to inform operational and business decisions
Document, disseminate, and track meeting minutes, notes, and action items
Prepare various status reports on a consistent basis for internal and external stakeholders
Lead project deliverables as necessary including workgroup meetings including ensuring meeting objectives are completed
Review procedure requests and ensure project adheres to applicable FAA Orders and processes such as supporting a technical feasibility study for all IFP requests to address items on the IFP Validation checklist (when applicable)
Act as a liaison which includes working with different stakeholders (i.e. knowing where and who within FAA to talk to) to gather and/or confirm information in support of deliverables/tasking by FAA customer
Prepare materials and/or technical documentation for industry and Congressional inquiries as necessary
Support the customer's overall business strategy, developing strategic plans and assessing tasks, programs, and system performance
Coordinate, schedule, and arrange meetings including identifying conference room space as required/logistics prep
Coordinate and ensure waivers to criteria are fully documented and provide an equivalent level of safety (when applicable)
Prepare materials for program briefings and presentations as necessary
Create business process/data flow diagrams

Air Traffic Control and/or air traffic management background including 5 years of management experience required
12+ years of professional experience, with a focus in strategic project planning and execution, life cycle acquisition planning and management, administrative, and quantitative/qualitative analysis related work experience (preferred).
