Tasks

-Support project controls resources implement the portfolio’s standardised WBS / CBS structures across the projects and systems -Coordinate the integration of project schedules, budgets, risks and PBI reporting across all projects in the Programme to provide a consolidated Programme level view. -Attend regular Governance meetings as required -Generate Programme-level reporting and actionable insights as per the monthly reporting calendar in collaboration with project controls teams -Support full adoption of digital tools (e.g., Power BI, CEMAR, P6 Primavera, etc.) in collaboration with the Portfolio’s PMO team internally and externally with the supply chain -Facilitate alignment between project teams and portfolio-level controls requirements to ensure consistency in data, processes, and deliverables -Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Strategic Portfolio by exploring innovative ways of working, championing Lessons Learned and introduction of best-in class industry practices -Embed defined Project Control standards, processes, tools and quality requirements across a Programme of strategic projects in collaboration with the Portfolio’s PMO team -Responsible for management reporting across the Programme, as well as feeding inputs to the annual regulatory reporting process. -Enable project delivery discipline by monitoring and controlling cost, schedule, risk and change by working closely with Development / Delivery Managers, Project Managers, project delivery teams and other key stakeholders -Close collaboration and sharing of commons standards, processes and way of working with the other PMO areas in SPT (Core & HVDC). -Provide project controls teams with guidance on the application of effective project controls techniques (e.g. cost and schedule variance, integrated master schedules, earned value metrics, critical path analysis, etc.)

What You Bring

-Familiarity with NEC4 ECC Options C and E contracts, particularly in the context of project controls, risk, and change management. -Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce high-quality reports, dashboards, and presentations tailored for senior stakeholders. -Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence, challenge, and drive decision-making at all levels of the organisation. -Experience with governance frameworks, including portfolio, programme, and project governance, and an understanding of their practical application. -Proficient in managing and adapting to dynamic project environments, demonstrating flexibility and initiative. -Proven leadership skills, with experience in leading multidisciplinary teams and driving collaboration across multiple projects and contractors. -Good working knowledge of some of the following systems (Microsoft Office, MSP, P6/OPC, SAP, Autodesk Construction Cloud, CEMAR, PBI) -Extensive experience (10+ years) in large-scale, complex infrastructure or energy EPC projects, with UK transmission/distribution upgrade project experience advantageous but not essential. -Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related fields, or equivalent professional qualifications and experience.
