Carry out engineering analyses, prepare reports and technical specifications, under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
Use computer software as a tool for solving basic engineering problems.
Maintain project records and files, contribute to the preparation of progress reports, communicate project and task updates to team members and supervisors as needed.
Collect and analyze data, perform field work, undertake site inspections under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
Create designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
Attend site visits and meetings in clients’ offices.
Assist in the planning, design, and implementation of stormwater management, water and wastewater treatment, water quality improvement projects for a variety of clients across Florida.
Work collaboratively within project teams to ensure project objectives are met within defined scope, schedule, and budget.
Conduct engineering design under the supervision of an experienced engineer.

Interest in water/wastewater infrastructure design and a willingness to travel and work in the field as needed.
Must have a valid U.S driver’s license and as a condition of employment, must be able to pass AECOM’s Motor Vehicle Records review.
Familiarity with additional software tools, such as Power BI, hydraulic modelling programs, structural design packages.
Proficiency in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software (i.e., StormWise, SWMM, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, etc.)
Master’s degree in civil, or environmental, or a related field.
Prior experience in water and wastewater engineering, including design, construction, and/or operations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Bachelor’s degree in civil, or environmental engineering with academic focus on water, wastewater, and/or stormwater infrastructure, or a related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
This position requires a hybrid work schedule which includes in office work in Tampa, FL. The selected candidate must be available to work in Tampa, FL on a scheduled basis.
Proficiency in MS Office suite.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS, and other design software.
