Associate Intern for Project Controls (Summer 2026)

Description

• Project scheduling, cost tracking, progress monitoring, and project / portfolio reporting for power-related engineering projects

Requirements

• Familiarity with scheduling software, preferably Primavera P6
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to interact and multitask with project team members, clients, and vendors of varying position levels.
• FSA & HSA
• Working knowledge in MS Office tools, with emphasis on MS Excel in creating and maintaining detailed, interactive spreadsheets, workbooks, and databases.
• Ability to quickly identify and prioritize issues, create solutions, and meet deadlines.
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree with a strong academic background, preferably with an emphasis in Construction Management, Industrial Engineering, or General Engineering, or equivalent degree
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
• Prior related internship, co-op, or work experience, which includes project controls, project planning, project scheduling, and earned value performance
• Utilize and expand your academic background in project controls and project management tools and methodologies
• Demonstrated leadership experience within campus and/or the community
• Enrollment in an ABET Engineering Accreditation Commission-approved program preferred
• Self-Starter, proactive, able to work independently with minimal direction.
