Lead business development activities including direct client interaction and engagement
Project management, sub-consultant coordination, project/task scheduling, contract scope and fee development/negotiations, managing design team members, civil design, plan production oversight, preparing cost estimates, client management and interaction, business development.
Develop a strategic business plan and oversee the hiring of a team of team members to assist in the execution of the plan
Participate in marketing activities such as proposal and letter of interest production, interviews, and other presentations
Foster collaboration between design teams and specialized service providers
Provide technical competency to serve as a project leader and technical advisor on transportation projects

10+ years of experience managing diverse Transportation projects with a successful track record of delivery on large scale projects for various municipalities (OKC metropolitan area preferred)
Strong working knowledge of MS Office
Technical experience in design for roadways/interchanges, drainage design (closed and open systems), construction sequencing and traffic control, and utility relocation coordination
Previous experience in consulting engineering with a primary focus on Municipal transportation projects
Experience with AutoDesk Civil 3D, MicroStation, Geopak, InRoads, and/or other roadway design software
Team leadership skills to recruit, develop, mentor, and oversee a highly motivated team; interface and workload balance with other regional teams; and be accountable to senior management for team portfolio performance
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited program
Licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE) in the state of Oklahoma or the ability to obtain reciprocity within six (6) months
Strong business development skills and previous experience with project and client management
Project management skills to prepare scope-of-work and level-of-effort estimates for contract proposals; lead and manage team for successful execution of contracted scope, budget, and schedule
10+ years of team management experience, including experience leading municipal and transportation projects
Practical working knowledge of the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) Green Book, the Roadside Design Guide, the Highway Capacity Manual (HCM), and the Manual Uniform Traffic Control Device (MUTCD) as well as other industry standard design manuals and processes
