- Provides input to the development of engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements.
- Senior technical resource may serve as technical advisor for team
- Develops construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts for projects.
- Participates in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.
- Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise.
- Develops study and design procedures to facilitate high quality cost effective work by others.
- Performs quality control review of design calculations or drawings.
- Prepares technical specification sections.

- Previous design experience working with CYMCAP or other similar software tools for EHV/HV AC and DC Cable Ampacity calculations, EMTP Calculations and modelling expertise is highly desirable
- Chartership with IET-UK or equivalent is desirable
- Uses expertise in all steps of completing discipline component of PS&E package.
- Overall 12+ years of work experience is preferred.
- Previous experience in HV Cable OEM design teams working for Grid Utilities (for e.g., National Grid, Transgrid, Powergrid etc.,) for Underground HV Cables design is highly desirable
- Expsoure to International standards (IEC, IEEE, ANSI, Australian Standards and Middle East region codes and standards) is preferred
- Very good communication skills (Oral and Written) in English language is mandatory
