Key duties include leading the creation of comprehensive transportation and mobility strategies within city master plans, analysing current and future travel demand, and coordinating surveys and stakeholder consultations. The position also involves developing multimodal frameworks, integrating land‑use and transport planning, preparing models and scenario forecasts, and producing high‑quality reports, maps and presentations for public and authority stakeholders.
The role requires a graduate degree in Architecture, Planning, Civil or Transport Engineering, plus a postgraduate qualification in Transportation Planning from a recognized university. Candidates must have at least ten years of experience in urban transport planning, traffic analysis, policy formulation, and large‑scale city or regional projects.
Proficiency with transport modeling tools such as PTV Visum, PTV Vissim, Cube, and ArcGIS is essential, along with strong presentation skills using PowerPoint and visual design using Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop. Knowledge of the Odia language is an advantage, and the role is based in Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
