Tasks

-Communicating complex technical information in straight-forward language, and guiding clients with actionable solutions. -Conducting field measurements and construction administration visits at commercial, residential, institutional and construction sites primarily in the greater Los Angeles area. -Providing acoustical expertise for a wide range of projects. -Helping resolve complex acoustical challenges for consultation with design-oriented clients. -Providing proposal direction and review. -Supporting a defined quality assurance process. -Providing mentorship and technical guidance to more junior staff.

We are seeking a SENIOR ACOUSTICAL CONSULTANT with 10+ years’ experienceto join our team in Culver City/Los Angeles, Californiaoffice, working on vibrant projects across multiple sectors from hospitality to healthcare. If you’re passionate about creating environments where sound enhances experience, we want to hear from you! Our team takes on an exciting range of projects, including TV and -Demonstrated ability to consult with clients, and find mutually agreeable solutions -Sound business ethics, including the protection of proprietary and confidential information. -Ability to hold teams accountable to deliver quality technical work with focus on project budgets and deliverable schedules. -Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities. -10+ yearsof experience in an acoustical consulting environment, or equivalent, and as part of design teams. -Passion for acoustics, building/construction, and design. -Expertise in physical acoustics, building acoustics and experience with acoustic instrumentation. -A Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree (preferred) in acoustics.
