The Rental Manager’s core duties include collecting monthly rent, processing deposits, maintaining resident files, preparing and signing lease agreements, and handling eviction notices while keeping computer reports up‑to‑date.
This individual will also support the Community Manager by supervising office personnel, assisting with reports, and learning the Community Manager’s functions for future promotional opportunities, requiring flexibility to adapt to market and owner objectives.
- Collect monthly rent aiming for 100 % collection.
- Prepare and deposit bank slips.
- Maintain and update current and former resident files.
- Draft and serve eviction notices, managing the eviction process.
- Enter rent payments and late fees into the computer system.
- Review credit reports and rental applications.
- Prepare and sign lease agreements for new and renewing residents.
- Generate daily computer reports and assist the Community Manager with reporting.
- Supervise office personnel and support the Community Manager’s oversight.
- Learn Community Manager duties for future promotion.
