Supporting the group’s modelling activities with full oversight and ownership across a variety of jurisdictions and markets, in particular BESS and Co-located Solar/BESS.
Developing relationships with stakeholders, working alongside industry peers to glean data inputs and stay abreast on all technical modelling matters.
Driving business development, researching market variables across a variety of jurisdictions, assessing viability and opportunities in any new markets identified.
Driving innovation within the group’s modelling function via technology, data management and visualisation, as well as optimisation across inputs.
Supporting wider commercial activity, including route-to-market activities and operational performance benchmarking and reporting.
Supporting the group’s M&A activities, understanding both buy and sales processes and due diligence requirements and developing and maintaining models as required.

Knowledge of the renewable energy sector a distinct advantage (not a prerequisite).
Proven ability to build, interrogate and renew financial models.
Strong consulting background or experience gained in a relevant industry role.
The successful candidate should have an excellent knowledge of Excel and it’s uses in financial modelling and management.
Possess strong financial acumen, including an awareness for funding/ financing arrangements and the impact on group modelling.
The successful candidate should have at least 3-5 year’s work experience.
A professionally recognised finance (e.g. CFA) or accounting qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA) would be an advantage.
Excellent communication skills including report drafting, delivering presentations and an ability to influence all levels of the business.
Strong technical skills and experience working with one or more of the following: VBA; Python; SQL; PowerBI.
