ANS Geo provides geospatial services, specializing in surveying, mapping, and data analytics for infrastructure projects.
The Lab Engineer (Intern) plays a crucial role in advancing ANS's geotechnical engineering initiatives by conducting soil testing within our in-house lab. The position involves sample preparation, executing tests according to established standards, and routine workstation maintenance. The intern contributes to project success through meticulous attention to detail and adherence to industry testing protocols.
We seek a lab intern expected to graduate by Fall 2025 or Spring 2026. This hands‑on, collaborative environment offers the possibility of a full‑time offer after graduation for candidates who are a strong cultural fit and wish to remain in the geotechnical field.
The role is in‑person and requires the ability to stand or walk for 6–8 hours, lift 25–50 lb repeatedly, and perform frequent kneeling and squatting.
Compensation ranges from $18 to $22 per hour. The internship begins as a four‑month term with potential extensions based on performance, featuring an 8‑hour shift schedule, flexible daily hours, Monday‑Friday work and occasional weekends as needed.
