BIM Coordinator

Description

We are seeking, for one of our subsidiaries, a BIM Coordinator to oversee the implementation and integration of Building Information Modeling (BIM) throughout the project lifecycle. This role ensures the effective use of BIM to achieve project objectives, maintain compliance with international standards, and support seamless collaboration among technical, design, and construction teams.

• Facilitate management of the BIM supply chain to ensure accurate data and documentation.
• Oversee project progress and team performance to ensure timely, high-quality delivery within budget.
• Conduct regular quality assurance and control checks on BIM deliverables.
• Provide structured reports on BIM issues, audits, and progress to management and clients.
• Identify and manage BIM-related risks and opportunities across the project lifecycle.
• Integrate other data systems (GIS, PMIS) with BIM for enhanced asset and facility management.
• Guide teams in utilizing Building Information Modeling (BIM) effectively across all project stages.
• Create and maintain BIM templates, families, and shared parameters for consistency.
• Ensure compliance with IFC, ISO 19650, PAS1192, and open BIM standards.
• Support and train project teams to strengthen BIM knowledge and best practices.
• Develop and enforce BIM protocols and legal frameworks to address contractual requirements.
• Configure and manage the Common Data Environment (CDE) to track and monitor deliverables.
• Support clash detection, 4D sequencing, 5D cost estimation, and COBie asset management.

Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and ensure cross-team coordination.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a BIM-focused role within construction or facility management.
• Experience in configuring and managing the Common Data Environment (CDE).
• Preferred: Autodesk Certified Professional or BIM Management Certificate.
• Excellent communication, reporting, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360, and related tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of BIM standards and best practices (IFC, ISO 19650, PAS 1192).
