Additional responsibilities include assisting with front‑end breaks, creating One‑Point Lessons, and supporting other front‑end personnel to keep operations running smoothly.
Safety and housekeeping are integral to the position. The technician must handle Lock‑Tag‑Try procedures for the autocatcher area, keep the work area clean, report unsafe conditions immediately, and complete behavior‑based safety checks, pink cards, and hazard hunts. Prompt reporting of accidents, near‑misses, or injuries to a supervisor and adherence to all plant rules and shift attendance requirements are also expected.
Applicants should possess strong communication skills, accountability, and the ability to make quick decisions under pressure. Proficiency in basic math, English, and TPM steps related to the role is required, along with basic computer operation. A high school diploma or GED is mandatory, with manufacturing experience preferred.
