Strategic Transactions: Advise on GL impacts of significant transactions (M&A, debt arrangements, restructurings), ensuring accounting entries, valuations, and disclosures are accurately captured.
Policy & Controls: Develop and maintain accounting policies and GL-level controls to ensure accurate, consistent application of complex accounting across entities.
Corporate Accounting Integration: Partner with the corporate accounting team to ensure that complex arrangements are correctly reflected in the GL, reconciliations, and financial statement line items.
Implementation: Lead the end-to-end accounting and GL setup for complex arrangements, including journal entry design, reconciliation frameworks, and related team training.
Collaboration: Work closely with the Senior Manager, Corporate Accounting, and external auditors to ensure complex GL accounting matters are addressed and audit-ready.
